A Committed Social Sponsorship

Our company has initiated a social sponsorship with L’Ermitage to actively support their educational, social, and human mission in 2026 and beyond.

A Reception and Educational Assistance Service Dedicated to Youth Aid

L’Ermitage is recognized as a Reception and Educational Assistance Service (S.A.A.E.) operating within the youth aid sector. Its primary mission is to welcome young people who are experiencing difficult family situations and to offer them a stable, structured, and reassuring living environment. Each project is tailored to the child or teenager, ensuring that their emotional, social, and educational needs are placed at the heart of every decision.

The institution works with 15 boys and girls aged between 3 and 18 years. Every child welcomed at L’Ermitage follows an individualized educational pathway, co-constructed with the young person, his or her family, and the professionals mandated by the youth protection system. The objective is always the same: to restore balance, foster autonomy, and help every young person find their place in society.

In 2026, L’Ermitage continues to strengthen its support tools and partnerships, ensuring that each young person benefits from modern, multidisciplinary and human-centred care. Our sponsorship comes in support of these actions, enabling concrete, day-to-day improvements in living conditions and educational opportunities.

Key Missions of L’Ermitage for Young People in Difficulty

L’Ermitage structures its work around several major missions, all aimed at protecting, supporting, and guiding young people and their families. These missions cover both the time of reception and the crucial transition phases, such as returning to the family or moving towards independence.

Reception in Case of Family Difficulties

L’Ermitage organizes short, medium, or long-term reception for young people facing family difficulties. The aim is to offer a safe space where children can rebuild themselves, benefit from daily guidance, and regain stability, while work with the families is carried out in parallel to understand and address the causes of the placement.

Support When Returning to the Family

When conditions allow, L’Ermitage organizes and supports the return of young people to their families after a stay in the institution. This follow-up is essential to ensure continuity, to support parents in their role, and to help the young person adapt to their environment in the most serene way possible, reducing the risk of new breakdowns.

Pathway to Independence from Age 16

From the age of 16, for young people who cannot return to their families and who are moving towards adulthood, L’Ermitage organizes a structured transition to independence. This may include living in an apartment or studio, learning to manage a budget, and taking on daily responsibilities, always with professional support to prepare them for their majority with confidence.

A Mission Framed by Youth Protection Services

L’Ermitage intervenes under mandates issued by the youth court, the judicial protection service, or the youth aid service. These authorities entrust the institution with the task of working with young people and their families to identify the causes of the difficulties encountered and to build concrete solutions. The placement is never an end in itself, but a framework for reflection, protection, and reconstruction.

Together with these institutional partners, L’Ermitage develops educational projects that respect the rights of the child, while taking into account the realities and limits of each family. The goal is to find a lasting balance, either through a return to the family or through a pathway to independence suited to the young person’s situation.

A Multidisciplinary and Committed Team

To ensure consistent, professional and caring support, L’Ermitage relies on a multidisciplinary team dedicated to the proper implementation of each educational project. This team combines complementary skills and a shared commitment to the well-being of young people.

  • 8 educators directly involved in daily guidance and educational support
  • 1 head educator coordinating the educational team and projects
  • Maintenance staff (male and female) ensuring a safe and pleasant living environment
  • 1 psycho-social agent to support emotional, relational, and family dynamics
  • 1 economist managing the institution’s resources and operational means
  • 1 director guaranteeing the overall coherence of the project and partnerships

This collective work ensures that each young person benefits from comprehensive support that addresses both the practical aspects of daily life and deeper psychological and social needs, in line with the values of youth aid in 2026.
