National Bank of Belgium
The B.N.B. has a fundamental role in credit matters. As soon as you take out a loan, your lender (financial institution or bank) is obliged to report your loan to the Central Individual Credit Register.
Also, as soon as you do not pay two monthly payments, your credit organization must denounce your credit to the Central Credit Office and you will be registered. Each broker has access to the Central Credit Register and can therefore have knowledge of all the credits that are being executed as well as any payment default that has been reported.
As soon as you are registered, no broker can grant you a credit although solutions exist.
